ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AT A GLANCE

Before applying, confirm you meet these conditions:

• Must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
• NSUT, DTU, IGDTUW, and DSEU require minimum 60 percent in PCM at Class 12
• IIIT-Delhi requires minimum 70 percent in best five subjects including PCM and 70 percent in Mathematics separately
• B.Arch candidates need minimum 45 percent in PCM
• JEE Main 2026 Paper-I for B.Tech and Paper-II for B.Arch is mandatory
• 85 percent seats are reserved for Delhi Region candidates and 15 percent for Outside Delhi candidates
• There is no age limit for JAC Delhi 2026

SEAT ALLOTMENT AND SELECTION PROCESS

The counselling runs in rounds and the allotment method differs slightly by institution:

• NSUT, DTU, IGDTUW, and DSEU seats are allotted based on JEE Main 2026 CRL rank
• IIIT-Delhi uses JEE Main percentile plus up to 2 bonus points for Olympiad, sports, chess, or cultural achievements
• B.Arch seats at NSUT and IGDTUW are allotted based on JEE Main Paper-II CRL rank
• Candidates not freezing their seat are automatically considered for upgradation in next rounds
• Physical document verification at the allotted institute is mandatory after seat acceptance

HOW TO APPLY FOR JAC DELHI 2026

Complete all steps before June 9 to avoid missing the window:

1. Visit jacdelhi.admissions.nic.in and authenticate using your JEE Main 2026 application number, name, and date of birth
2. Enter your email and mobile number and verify both via OTP
3. Create a password, your JEE Main application number becomes your User ID
4. Fill the application form carefully with personal, academic, and category details
5. Upload Class 12 marksheet, Class 10 certificate, category certificates, and bonus point documents if applicable for IIIT-Delhi
6. Enter your bank account details for refund purposes
7. Confirm the form, no edits are allowed after this step
8. Pay the non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 1,500 online
9. Fill and lock your choice of university and programme in order of preference
10. Download and save a printout of your registration form and locked choices
