If you have cleared 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and have a JEE Main 2026 rank in hand, the Indian Navy just opened a door that most people your age will never get to walk through. The 10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry Scheme for Permanent Commission is not a short-service contract or a temporary role. This is a full four-year B.Tech degree at the Indian Naval Academy in Ezhimala, awarded by JNU, followed by a career as a Permanent Commissioned Officer in the Technical branches of the Indian Navy. VACANCY DETAILS BY BRANCH

Only two technical branches are open for this entry:

• Mechanical Engineering has 30 vacancies
• Electronics and Communication Engineering has 30 vacancies
• Women can apply for both branches with a combined cap of 8 seats

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

You must meet all three conditions before applying:

• Passed 10+2 with PCM and minimum 70 percent aggregate in Physics Chemistry and Mathematics
• Minimum 50 percent marks in English either in Class 10 or Class 12
• Must have appeared for JEE Main 2026 B.E./B.Tech paper and have a valid CRL rank
• Age bracket is birth between July 2, 2007 and January 1, 2010 both dates inclusive
• Only unmarried candidates are eligible and must remain unmarried throughout training
