Table of Contents
Uttar Pradesh is about to do something genuinely worth celebrating. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will personally felicitate 223 state-level toppers from Class 10 and Class 12 on June 1, 2026, at Lok Bhawan in Lucknow. These are students from UP Board, CBSE, CISCE, and the Sanskrit Board, all gathered under one roof to be recognized by the state's top official. That is not a small gesture.
What makes this ceremony stand out is the scale of the reward. Each of the 223 state toppers walks away with Rs. 1 lakh in cash, a high-end tablet, a medal, and a citation certificate. The cash is transferred directly through DBT, so there is no delay or middleman involved. And it does not stop there. Another 1,459 district-level toppers across all 75 districts of UP will be honored separately by district magistrates, each receiving Rs. 21,000, a tablet, and a medal. That is a combined pool of 1,682 students being recognized statewide.
The competition was fierce this year. Shikha Verma topped UP Board Class 12 with 97.60 percent, while Kashish Verma and Anshika Verma shared the Class 10 top rank at 97.83 percent. Multiple students tied for second and third positions in both classes, which tells you just how close the margins were. Here is everything you need to know about UP Board Toppers Felicitation 2026.
